Mobility for bilateral stakeholder mapping for creating IoT networks for Climate Change

Through Mobility Partnership between University of the West of Scotland (UWS) and NED University of Engineering and Technology (NEDUET), we aim to build a transnational partnership with multi-disciplinary expertise to identify problems, create innovative technological methodologies as well as recommend the best strategies for the implementation of Intelligent/Smart Environment Monitoring and Evaluation Systems using the Internet of Things (IoT) in urban and rural regions of Pakistan. The goal of this mobility partnership is to pave way to the establishment of economical and cost-effective methods for monitoring “climate change” in the country and identify the routes to improve the response of the stakeholders and policy makers. We believe that once an effective framework of environmental monitoring system is established, we will be able to identify patterns linking consequences of global warming faced by urban and rural populations.
